This is the third attack on students on the university town of Stellenbosch this year.
Another student attacked. A 21-year-old student at the University of Stellenbosch (U.S.)'s friend, Andrew Briggs reported on Twitter thathis friend was attacked.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
Lieutenant Colonel. Andrè Traut, a provincial police spokesman, confirmed the incident.
"The 21-year-old was robbed of his bike at about 01:00 in Schoongezightstraat in Stellenbosch. Two men loaded the bike on on a Nissan bakkie (LDV) and fled. "
