Valhalla resident brutally assaulted, GAUTENG

A Valhalla resident and his wife woke to the sound of burglars trying to enter their home early this morning.

Andre Kruger’s wife alerted him to the fact that someone was trying to gain entry to their home in Alaric Street in Valhalla.

Andre got up to inspect the origin of the noise and walked straight into a black man wielding a knife and a broken bottle.
He was hit over the head and stabbed with a knife.
His wife rushed back to the bedroom and alerted the police and emergency services.
On hearing that help was on the way, the attackers fled and are still on the loose.
